Shift Availability: Various shift patterns available. All shift patterns must include one shift over the weekend. Start times for days 00:00 - 03:30am starts. 7 day a week operation. Mon - Fri PM 16:00 - 18:00 starts. Mon - Fri for Nights 21:00 - 23:30 starts.
Role and Responsibilities: Driver Resource are currently seeking to recruit Class 1 Drivers (HGV/LGV) to work on an ongoing basis for RXO on the Costco contract based at Crick, Northamptonshire. Duties for the Class 1 Driver (HGV/LGV) are:
- 1/2 Trunks per day to Costco stores with a possible collection on return from one of their suppliers.
- Trunk deliveries.
- Assisted loading may be required at some collection points only.
Average hours for the Class 1 Drivers (HGV/LGV) are 10-12 per day. Minimum 8 hours will apply. These roles are long term ongoing with no end date.
Compensation:
- Monday - Friday: £18.00 Holiday accrual, £20.17 Holiday included, £23.73 Umbrella.
- Saturday: £20.00 Holiday accrual, £22.41 Holiday included, £26.37 Umbrella.
- Sunday/Bank holidays: £22.00 Holiday accrual, £24.65 Holiday included, £29.01 Umbrella.
Yearly driver bonus recognition scheme for all of the Class 1 drivers which is paid annually at Christmas. Qualifying criteria will apply. £1200 in high street vouchers.
Requirements: Drivers must possess the following;
- Class 1 Drivers Licence – new passes accepted.
- No more than 6 points on your driving licence.
Due to insurance reasons we will not be able to accept applications from the following applicants: Under the age of 21, more than 6 points on license DR or IN conviction codes.
