Job Overview

Location: Crick, Northamptonshire

Shift Availability: Monday to Friday 04:00 - 06:00 starts (Approx 8-10 hours per day) or Sunday to Thursday 17:00 starts (Approx 9-11 hours per day)

Contract: Long term ongoing

My Client is a world leader in third-party logistics, providing and operating transportation and supply-chain solutions for large or medium-size national and multinational companies. The client offers a broad range of end-to-end, customised solutions in contract logistics and air, ocean, ground and finished vehicle transport worldwide.

Driver Resource are currently seeking to recruit Class 2 Day & Night Drivers to work on an ongoing basis for our client based at Crick, Northamptonshire.

Responsibilities:

  • Average 6-9 drops/collections per shift.
  • Shifts start as above.
  • 10-hour shifts on average with a maximum of 14 hours.
  • You must pass an unpaid assessment for this role.
  • Vehicles will be curtainsided or box trailers.
  • You may need to unload at some sites.

Pay Details (PAYE Driver, exclusive of holiday):

  • Standard: £15.51 (06:00 – 20:00)
  • Unsociable hours: £17.76 (20:00 – 06:00)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 months experience.
  • Flexible attitude to work.
  • HGV/LGV C Licence.
  • CPC card.
  • Digi card.
  • High-vis and safety boots.
  • Clean & professional appearance.
  • No more than 6 points on your licence.
  • No DR or IN conviction codes.
  • Good understanding of English and good communication skills, paperwork involved.
