HGV Trade Plate Driver based in Coalville, Leicestershire. Working Monday to Friday, shift start between 04:00 – 09:00. Average shift length 12 – 15 hours. Vehicles are never taken home.

Salary

  • Rate options: LTD £17.00 per hour; PAYE £13.50 per hour (£15.13 including holiday).

Responsibilities

  • Collect and deliver HGV units (class 2 or class 1) without trailers, using trade plates.
  • Maintain professional and polite conduct at all times.
  • Inspect vehicles on collection and delivery using bespoke software.
  • Travel between delivery points using public transport where possible; use company minibuses or hire vehicles when required.
  • Submit travel expenses weekly; expenses are not taxable.
  • Receive two days of training prior to start.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months experience driving in the United Kingdom.
  • Licence with no more than 9 points for minor offences.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Dress smartly (no tracksuits, branded clothing, trainers, or offensive logos).
  • Android mobile phone required to install the company app.
