We are recruiting reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers for a renowned client in Stevenage. Immediate starts available after assessment and full induction.
Job Details
- Hourly rate: £22.48 (rolled up holiday) or £24.95 hourly (PAYE) or UMB.
- Shift: 15:00 – 19:00
- Weekend drivers wanted; Saturday and Sunday work required. 7‑day operation.
Responsibilities
- Deliver baked goods to stores or depots.
- Complete assessment and induction, then train with a supervisor driver.
Ideal Candidate
- Valid UK licence, CPC & Digi cards.
- Minimum 12 months experience driving HGV Class 1.
- No more than 6 points and no major driving offences.
- Good communication, ability to follow instructions, good physical condition.
- MUST be able to work weekends; more flexibility preferred.
- Minimum 6 months’ experience driving HGV Class 1.
