The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

Driver Require are recruiting Class 2 Drivers for our client based in Tamworth. The role will include:

  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks
  • Completing minor repairs to the vehicles where necessary and appropriate to do so
  • Reporting any damage, defects, or wear-and-tear to the Transport Team
  • Ensuring the load is securely strapped down
  • Driving a Class 2 Lorry to and from customer locations
  • Multi drop (up to 8 drops)
  • Handballing may be required - no dirty work
  • Liaising with Customers
  • Liaising with the Transport Team to ensure that they are kept appraised of the status of your delivery and whereabouts
  • Completion of paperwork / PODs

Pay rates:

  • Weekday - £14.00 plus holiday pay
  • Weekend - £17.50 plus holiday pay
  • Night out - £25.00

Driver requirements:

  • Must have 12 months HGV / Class 2 Driver experience
  • Strapping and loading experience needed
  • Be mindful of the vehicles when driving to customers, e.g., fitting into tight spaces
  • Maximum 6 points on licence with no major convictions (DD/DR/IN10's)
