Driver Require are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client, GXO Logistics based in Swadlincote. This position is ongoing work, all year round with opportunity for Temp to Perm for the right candidates. Our client will also accept newly qualified HGV drivers!
Once inducted, you will need to complete a set amount of double manned training shifts before working solo (amount of training shifts depends on induction / driving assessment).
PAYE Pay Rate:
- Weekdays - £14.90 / hour
- Weekends - £16.45 / hour
- Pay Rate (inclusive of holiday pay):
- Weekdays - £16.70 / hour
- Weekends - £18.44 / hour
The Job:
- Will accept new passes
- Any 5 out of 7 days
- 03:00 - 07:00 starts
- Must be able to work 1 day on the weekend
- Deliveries to well known high street stores
- 10 - 15 drops per day
- You will need to offload cages, using a tail lift
- Once inducted, double manned training shifts (route planning etc) will be offered until the driver / trainer signs you off to go solo
