Main Responsibilities:
- Delivering to RDC's multi-drop and swap trailers some potential live load.
- Ensure that daily vehicle checks are carried out and any defects are duly reported, ensuring the vehicle and its load are road-worthy and do not pose a threat to other road-users.
- Liaising with Customers: Abide by customers rules and regulations whilst on site.
- Liaising with the Transport Team to ensure that they are kept appraised of the status of your delivery and whereabouts.
- Effectively managing your driving time so that you don't acquire infringements.
Skills and Experience Required:
- 2 year's experience of driving Class 1 vehicles on UK roads.
- Maximum 6 points on licence with no major convictions (DD/DR/IN10's).
- Driver CPC qualification card.
