Ongoing - Monday to Friday. Start times between 4:00am and 10:00am.
Pay Rates:
- Weekday - £15.00 plus holiday pay
- Weekend - £16.50 plus holiday pay
- Night out - £25.00
Driver Require are recruiting Class 2 Drivers for our client based in Tamworth. The role as a Class 2 driver will include:
- Carrying out daily checks on the vehicle you are assigned for a job.
- Completing minor repairs to the vehicles where necessary and appropriate to do so.
- Reporting any damage, defects, or wear-and-tear to the Transport Team.
- Ensuring the load is strapped down.
- Driving a Class 2 Lorry to and from customer locations.
- Multi drop (up to 10 drops).
- Handballing required - no dirty work.
- Liaising with Customers.
- Liaising with the Transport Team to ensure that they are kept appraised of the status of your delivery and whereabouts.
- Effectively managing your driving time so that you don’t acquire infringements.
- Nights out may be needed.
Class 2 Driver requirements:
- Must have 12 months Class 2 Driver experience.
- Strapping and loading experience needed.
- Be mindful of the vehicles when driving to customers, e.g., fitting into tight spaces.
- Maximum 6 points on licence with no major convictions (DD/DR/IN10's).
