HGV Class 1 Driver Stevenage
Driver Require are recruiting reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing full time work with one of our prestigious clients based in Stevenage completing deliveries from the DC to various store locations. We have options for DAY or NIGHT drivers:
DAYS= STORE DELIVERY
OR
NIGHTS= TRUNKING
HGV Class 1 Driver role details:
- 7 Day operation DAYS OR Nights available
- Delivery of white goods – some palletised but majority is white goods
- Tail lift deliveries
- PM : Trunking
- AM store work, some CSC deliveries as well (curtain trailers)
- Mixture of start times – Days 05.00 – 08.00 & Nights 16.00 – 20.00
- Assessment / Induction Required. – if passed a rota pattern of 5 on 3 off for continuous ongoing work, we can also look at other requests
HGV Class 1 Driver pay rates
Monday to Friday:
- Day shifts: £21.00 p/h PAYE

Night shifts: £22.18 p/h PAYE
Saturdays
- £23.36 p/h PAYE
Sundays/ Bank Holidays:
- £24.53 p/h PAYE
UMBRELLA(DAYS £23.31ph, NIGHTS £24.62ph, SAT £25.92ph, SUN £27.23ph)
Candidate requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 licence with no more than 6 points on license
(no major endorsements) -
Minimum 1 year experiencedriving HGV Class 1

Flexible availability to meet shift requirements

Good knowledge of Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive regulations

Must pass an assessment following with an induction
