Driver Require are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client, GXO Logistics based in Swadlincote. This position is ongoing work, all year round with opportunity for Temp to Perm for the right candidates.
Once inducted, you will need to complete a set amount of double manned training shifts before working solo (amount of training shifts depends on induction / driving assessment). 12 months experience required.
PAYE Pay Rate:
- Weekdays - £14.90 / hour
- Weekends - £16.45 / hour
- Pay Rate (inclusive of holiday pay):
- Weekdays - £16.70 / hour
- Weekends - £18.40 / hour
The Job:
- 12 months experience required
- Any 5 out of 7 days
- 03:00 - 07:00 starts
- Must be able to work 1 day on the weekend
- Deliveries to well known high street stores
- 10 - 15 drops per day
- You will need to offload cages, using a tail lift
- Once inducted, double manned training shifts (route planning etc) will be offered until signed off to go solo depending on experience
