Driver Require are recruiting HGV Trade Plate drivers to join our client based in Coalville, Leicestershire.
Job Description for HGV Trade Plate Driver:
- 2 days training is provided
- Shifts average between 12 - 15 hours per day
- Your shift will start and end in their yard in Coalville, Leicestershire. VEHICLES ARE NEVER TAKEN HOME
- Collecting and delivering HGVs (class 2 or class 1 units without trailer), driven on trade plates
- Drivers are to be Professional and Polite at all times
- Vehicles to be driven professionally and courteously at all times
- Vehicle inspection on collection and delivery using bespoke software
- Drivers are expected to generally make their own way between delivery and next collection points using public transport. However, there are several minibuses in operation to assist drivers as per operational demand as well as the use of hire vehicles
- All money spent on public transport will be reimbursed weekly as a travel expense, you will not be taxed on any expenses
HGV Trade Plate Driver Specification:
- You must be smartly dressed (No tracksuits, branded clothing, trainers, offensive logos)
- Minimum 6 months experience driving within the UK
- No more than 9 points on licence for minor offences
- NO DD/ DR/ IN10/ TT99
- You will need to have an android mobile phone to download/install the app (app not compatible with iPhone)
