HGV Class 1 Driver - Events Work Location: Leeds Employment Type: Ad-Hoc / Part-Time Pay: £20.17ph - £23.52ph Sector: Events & Logistics The Role We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) Drivers to work on an ad-hoc basis for an established events company based in Leeds . The role involves the delivery and collection of trailers containing event equipment , with drivers travelling between the depot and various event sites. Equipment may need to be delivered to or collected from event venues, with trailers then returned to the depot as required. This is a flexible, ad-hoc position , with bookings often becoming available at relatively short notice. As a result, the role would ideally suit a driver who is looking for part-time, flexible work and is able to accommodate occasional short-notice bookings. Some assignments may involve occasional overnight stays/tramping , where the driver will be required to sleep in the cab. Pay Rates All rates are PAYE and include holiday pay : Weekdays: £20.17 per hour Weeknights: £21.29 per hour Saturdays: £22.41 per hour Sundays: £23.52 per hour Night Out Allowance: £28 per night when an overnight stay in the cab is required Requirements To be considered for this role, you must: Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Have a minimum of 1 year's HGV Class 1 driving experience Have a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Be polite, professional and customer-focused Be comfortable dealing directly with customers and event staff Have a flexible and reliable approach to work Be comfortable with occasional overnight stays when required Apply Today If you're an experienced HGV Class 1 driver based in or around Leeds and are looking for flexible, well-paid ad-hoc work, we'd love to hear from you. #
