Location: Bedford, Bedfordshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am starts
Pay: £13.25 per hour PAYE (£14.85 per hour including holiday pay)
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Driver Require are currently recruiting for an experienced 3.5 tonne Van Driver to join our client's team in Bedford, Bedfordshire
The role involves multi-drop deliveries of chilled meat products , including ham and bacon, to trade customers, butcher shops and catering businesses. You will average around 20 deliveries per day and will be responsible for providing a friendly and professional service to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Multi-drop deliveries to trade and catering customers
Delivering chilled meat products safely and on time
Recording chilled temperatures throughout the day
Loading and unloading goods, with some boxes weighing 10-20kg
Providing excellent customer service at each delivery
Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and professionally
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience driving a van in a similar multi-drop delivery role
Full UK driving licence
Friendly, approachable and confident with customers
Physically fit and comfortable handling heavier boxes
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Careful xohmjla and safety-conscious
Able to work independently and manage a busy delivery schedule
