Driver Provider UK are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Tanker Drivers to join our team within Utilities / Environmental Services, supporting wastewater collection operations.
Shifts: 4 on 4 off
- Days: 5am - 5pm
- Nights: 5pm - 5am
Paid breaks
Pay:
- Days: £17.93 per hour
- Nights: £19.05 per hour
- Saturday: £20.00 per hour
- Sunday / BH: £20.00 per hour
Must be flexible and available for regular overtime.
What we need from you:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Full CPC + Digi card
- Good road knowledge and able to route your own work
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Comfortable using and operating a tablet device
- Must live within 45 minutes of where the vehicles are based
- Tidy, professional and able to represent the company to a high standard
- Understanding of Domestic Drivers Hours
- Flexibility to work overtime regularly
- You will be required to work Bank Holidays if they fall on your shift
What you'll be doing (brief duties wastewater / utilities):
- Driving a Class 2 tanker to collect and transport wastewater from various sites.
- Completing safe loading/unloading tasks using tanker equipment (hoses/valves/pumps as applicable).
- Following all health, safety and environmental procedures, including PPE and site rules.
- Completing vehicle checks, reporting defects, and keeping the vehicle clean and presentable.
- Using a tablet to manage jobs, updates, and required documentation.
- Completing accurate paperwork/records (e.g., job sheets, collection logs, waste documentation where required).
- Delivering a professional service, communicating with customers and the transport team.
