Driver Provider UK are looking for HGV Class 2 drivers in the Southampton area for day shift duties. Our client requires on-going vacuum tanker drivers to work Monday - Friday, some weekend O.T available.
We are looking for professional HGV drivers with a positive can do attitude, who can work as part of a team or equally well alone. We require candidates to have category C or CE driving entitlement, valid CPC and a valid digital tacho card. Candidates will also need to understand working under domestic regulations. HGV Experience would be preferred but is not essential as training will be provided. We can take newly qualified HGV Class 1 and 2 drivers as all candidates will have to pass a pre-employment driving assessment.
Duties will include but are not exclusive to:
- managing emergency floods situations
- emptying and legally disposing septic tank waste
- other associated drainage duties
Day shifts start at 05:00. Night shifts start at 17:00. Drivers are expected to be available for a 12 hour shift but should be prepared under emergency conditions to commit to longer duty.
About The Role:
- Day shift 05:00 - 17:00
- Night shift 17:00 - 05:00
- Candidates will undergo specialist training to be able to safely carry out drainage duties.

- All required PPE and safety equipment will be provided.
