Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are now offering an exciting and flexible temporary opportunity for a delivery Van Driver in Weymouth. For this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of food products.

Position: Van Driver (Category B)

Days: Monday – Sunday (flexible)

Start date: ASAP

Location: Weymouth

Pay Rate: £13.68 (daytime) – £15.69 (weekends). Holiday Pay Advanced.

The successful Van Driver will have:

  • a valid UK Category B driving licence (max. 6 penalty points)
  • experience in delivering using 3.5t vehicles
  • good customer service skills
  • physical fitness and familiarity with loading and unloading in a safe manner
  • own reliable transport to travel to work

Responsibilities:

  • adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • safely operate our client’s vans to deliver goods
  • load and unload goods from the van, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
  • maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle
  • provide excellent customer service during deliveries
