Heysham Driver Hire Lancaster are currently recruiting Class 2 drivers for palletline HGV work in the Heysham area.
During your shifts you will be expected to use a PDA system/complete appropriate paperwork, complete vehicle checks, and contact the transport office to report any issues. These are multidrop shifts so experience in similar work would be advantageous.
As a HGV Class 2 Driver you must have:
- C Licence/ Class 2 Licence
- CPC Card & Digital Tachograph
- No Major Endorsements
HGV Class 2 Driver responsibilities include:
- Vehicle safety checks
- Reporting any defects
- Successfully completing collections and deliveries across the UK
- Following route plans within the collection and delivery windows
The successful HGV Driver can expect:
- £15.50 per hour (paye adv)
- Weekly Pay
- 8 Hours guaranteed every shift
