We’re recruiting a Waste Services Coordinator on behalf of a large public sector organisation in Angus. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy service and play a key role in supporting the delivery of essential waste and environmental operations.
You’ll be responsible for coordinating day-to-day activities, supporting frontline teams, handling customer enquiries, monitoring service performance, and ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate waste management and environmental service activities
- Support and liaise with operational teams and contractors
- Investigate and resolve customer service issues
- Monitor service performance and produce reports
- Ensure compliance with environmental and health & safety requirements
- Contribute to service improvements and operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- Experience within waste management, environmental services, local authority services, or a similar operational environment
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage priorities and solve problems effectively
- Full UK Driving Licence
