Driver Hire is recruiting for Warehouse FLT Operatives to join a fantastic, well-respected local business based near Shepton Mallet. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for reliable candidates with warehouse and forklift experience who are looking for ongoing work, with the potential to become permanent for successful candidates. Due to the location and early start times, own transport is required.

The Role

  • Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
  • Moving stock around the warehouse using a forklift
  • Picking, packing, and preparing orders
  • Checking stock and reporting any issues
  • Supporting stock taking and stock accuracy
  • Using warehouse systems to record stock movements
  • Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and organised
  • Following all health and safety procedures
  • Supporting the wider warehouse team when needed

Requirements

  • A valid FLT licence
  • Minimum 1 year forklift experience
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience
  • Good attention to detail
  • A reliable and professional approach
  • Own transport due to location and start times
  • Knowledge of D365 for stock taking is preferred, although experience using similar warehouse or stock management systems would also be considered.
