Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are excited to be offering a flexible temporary opportunity for a delivery Van Driver in Dorchester. For this role, you will be responsible for food deliveries in the local area. The typical amount of drops per day is 8-12.
Position: Van Driver (Category B)
Days: Monday – Friday (flexible)
Location: Dorchester
The successful Van Driver will have:
- Experience in delivering using 3.5t vehicles
- A valid UK Category B driving licence (max. 6 penalty points)
- Own reliable transport to travel to work
- Physical fitness and familiarity with loading and unloading in a safe manner
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle
- Safely operate our client’s vans to deliver goods
- Load and unload goods from the van, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Our Van Driver offer:
- A minimum of 8 hours’ pay is guaranteed for every shift
