Class 2 Mixer Driver – TewkesburyWe are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Class 2 Mixer Driver to join our team based in Tewkesbury.
The Role
As a Class 2 Mixer Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of ready-mix concrete to customer sites across the local region. You will provide excellent customer service while ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time.
Working Hours Monday to Friday
Start time: 6:30am
Occasional Saturdays available during busy periods
Full-time, ongoing work Key Responsibilities Deliver ready-mix concrete to commercial and residential sites
Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report defects
Operate the mixer vehicle safely and efficiently
Complete all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation
Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism
Adhere to all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and Health & Safety regulations Requirements Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous mixer driving experience is advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided
Good understanding of driver regulations and road safety
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Strong communication skills What We Offer Pay rate of £17.00 per hour (includinc holiday pay) with time and a half for Saturdays (as an when required).
Consistent Monday to Friday work
Overtime opportunities
