Driver's Mate Pay rate: £13.50 - £15 Contract: Type: Temporary Location: Ipswich Start Date: ASAP We are looking for Driver's Mate to start ASAP for our client based in Ipswich, with all the support from our experienced Driver Hire team. The successful Driver's Mate will receive: £13.50 basic. £15 overtime. Guaranteed 10hrs per day. 28 days holiday prorated on PAYE. Upskilling to HGV, ADR and HIAB after satisfactory probation period. You'll be assisting workshop waste HGV drivers with the manual aspects of the job such as: Loading empty containers at depot - bins/drums/IBC's, Exchanging empties for full containers on customer sites, Use of drum trolley/electric pallet truck and tail lift on 18T rigid box to exchange workshop waste. Waste material is generally waste oil. No human waste. This is a physically demanding role.
