Looking for your next driving opportunity? Our client is seeking a reliable, professional and experienced LGV/HGV Driver to join their team, delivering LPG cylinders safely and efficiently to customers.
No ADR qualification? No problem – full ADR training will be provided to the successful candidate!
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced driver to secure a full-time, Monday-to-Friday position, with the added benefit of gaining an ADR qualification.
The Role
As an LPG Cylinder Delivery Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering LPG cylinders safely and efficiently to customer premises.
- Loading and unloading cylinders, ensuring safe manual handling practices.
- Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks.
- Ensuring deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with safety procedures.
- Following all ADR, health and safety, and company procedures.
- Ensuring the vehicle and load remain secure and compliant throughout the journey.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid LGV/HGV driving licence appropriate for the vehicle.
- Previous commercial driving or delivery experience.
- A reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.
- A strong commitment to health and safety.
- The ability to undertake the physical aspects of loading and unloading LPG cylinders.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- The ability to work independently and follow procedures.
ADR experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
- Pay: £17.13 per hour.
- Overtime: £25.70 per hour after 42.5 hours.
- Working days: Monday to Friday.
- Hours: Full-time.
- Training: Full ADR training provided to the successful candidate.
