Warehouse OperativeDriver Hire Southampton is currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a successful and growing business based in the Winchester area. Our client is an established supplier and distributor of cleaning, hygiene and janitorial products, supplying businesses across a wide range of sectors. Their extensive product range includes cleaning chemicals, PPE, paper products, gloves, waste sacks, cleaning equipment and other janitorial supplies. What’s on Offer? £28,000 – £30,000 per annum Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm Overtime available Temp-to-perm position Training and development opportunities Friendly and supportive working environment The Role Working as part of a busy warehouse team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day handling, storage and movement of stock, helping to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Loading and unloading deliveries Checking incoming stock Picking and packing customer orders Moving stock around the warehouse Putting stock away in the correct locations Loading vehicles for dispatch Carrying out stock checks and maintaining stock accuracy Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised Following all health and safety procedures Working as part of a team to meet daily targets Supporting other areas of the warehouse when required About You The successful candidate will ideally have: Previous warehouse experience A reliable and hardworking attitude Good attention to detail The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment Good teamwork and communication skills Experience in picking, packing and goods-in would be advantageous Forklift licence/experience is desirable but not essential A willingness to undertake a hands-on role If you’re an experienced Warehouse Operative looking for a stable, Monday-to-Friday position with the opportunity to earn additional income through overtime, we’d love to hear from you.
