About the role:

We are currently seeking a Forklift Driver / Yard Operative to join our client located in Barnsley for an ongoing position. This role involves a mix of forklift operation and general yard duties, supporting the smooth running of daily operations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Operating a forklift safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials
  • Managing stock within the yard, ensuring accurate storage and organisation
  • Assisting with deliveries and dispatch
  • Carrying out general yard duties as required
  • Following all health and safety procedures at all times

What we are looking for:

  • Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance essential; other licences beneficial)
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred
  • Willingness to carry out manual handling tasks as part of daily duties
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
