We are looking for a dedicated Minibus Driver to work with a highly reputable client based in Basingstoke to provide a reliable and efficient service to local schools, having just acquired a new school run contract to add to their existing portfolio. If you’re passionate about driving and delivering top-quality service, this could be the perfect role for you.
The Role:
- Position: Minibus Driver
- Contract: Ongoing Temporary
- Start Time: 07:30 – 09:30, and 14:30 – 16:30
- Working Days: Monday to Friday, term time only
- Shift Length: 4 hours per day (Additional hours may be required, but adequate notice would be given).
- Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the daily transportation of students to & from their home to their school(s) in Basingstoke, with the assistance of a school escort throughout all journeys. Daily checks of the vehicle are also required, reporting any issues to the company. You must ensure compliance with all traffic regulations and safety standards while on the road. Excellent customer is also essential as there may be times when you are required to liaise with the schools and/or parents regarding any schedule changes or delays during the day.
What You Need:
- Licence: You will need to have the ‘D’ entitlement on your licence
- Certifications: You must have a valid CPC Qualification for a Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV)
- Experience: Relevant driving experience would be desirable, although not essential as full training will be given
- Skills: Excellent timekeeping and strong customer service abilities
- Transport: Must have your own transport for commuting to/from work.
