We are recruiting on behalf of one of our valued manufacturing clients based in Sandbach for a Robot Weld Operative. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company with the potential for long-term, ongoing work.
Hours of Work
- Initial Training (Day Shift): Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30, Friday: 07:30 – 12:30, £12.71 per hour
- Following successful training, you will move onto rotating weekly shifts:
- Morning Shift: Monday to Thursday: 06:00 – 14:00, Friday: 06:00 – 12:00, £14.30 per hour
- Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday: 14:00 – 22:00, Friday: 12:00 – 18:00, £15.89 per hour
The Role
- Loading and unloading components into robotic welding machines.
- Carrying out visual quality inspections on finished products.
- Ensuring production targets are met safely and efficiently.
- Reporting any faults or defects to supervisors.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Working as part of a busy manufacturing team.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Experience operating robotic welding machinery is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Good attention to detail and quality standards.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work rotating shifts.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
