Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are now offering an exciting and temporary opportunity for an experienced HGV driver with our client in Salisbury.
You will receive a £100 Bonus for the first 20 shifts that you complete with Driver Hire.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for driving a variety of HGV Class 1, Class 2 or 7.5 Tonne Vehicles.
Position: HGV Driver
Days: Monday – Sunday (Flexible)
Location: Salisbury
As a HGV Driver you MUST have:
- a valid UK HGV driving licence
- a valid CPC and digital tachograph card
- a minimum of 6 months of recent commercial experience
- your own transport to get to and from work
- no more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN codes)
As a HGV Driver you will be responsible for:
- Safely operating HGVs to transport goods to various locations
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
This position is commutable from Andover, Bournemouth, Southampton and other areas close to Salisbury.
