HGV Drivers Class 1 Tramping – Nights Out – Permanent Positions
Nights out Tramping starts Monday and ends Friday, averaging 55 hours per week. You’ll earn around £860 per week, with an annual pay estimate of £42,000‑£44,000.
We are looking for 6 Class 1 HGV drivers for a well‑known company based in Longridge, Preston, seeking permanent employees following a 6‑week working period through us.
Qualifications
- C+E driving licence
- Current CPC card and digital tachograph card
- Six points or fewer on your licence for minor offences
- Keenness to look after your vehicle, reliability and punctuality
Responsibilities
- Tramping from site to site, 4 nights out
- Daily walk‑round and vehicle checks; reporting any damage or defects
- Correct use of tachograph and recording driver hours
What to Expect
- Permanent employment after a 6‑week trial period
- Commute from Blackpool, Fleetwood, Garstang, Southport, Chorley, Leyland, Bamber Bridge and nearby areas
- Work nights out, Monday to Friday
