Location: Reading

Driver Hire Reading are currently recruiting an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to support a major national home improvement and DIY retailer based in Reading. This is an ad-hoc role delivering store goods to residential and commercial addresses, working within a well-structured operation using modern, well-maintained vehicles.

Role Details

  • Start Time: 11:00am
  • Shift Type: Ad-hoc (weekday and weekend availability required)
  • Work Type: Store deliveries
  • Vehicle: 7.5 Tonne

Pay Rates (PAYE)

  • £17.00 per hour – Monday to Friday
  • £20.00 per hour – Saturday
  • £25.00 per hour – Sunday

Driver Requirements

  • Held a 7.5T (C1) licence for a minimum of 2 years
  • Continuous driving experience in licence category, with no gaps longer than 3 months in the last 24 months
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card
  • Maximum of 6 points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements)
  • Ability to provide 2 recent work references
  • Reliable, professional, and customer-focused
