Driver Hire Reading are currently recruiting an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to support a major national home improvement and DIY retailer based in Reading. This is an ad-hoc role delivering store goods to residential and commercial addresses, working within a well-structured operation using modern, well-maintained vehicles.
Role Details
- Start Time: 11:00am
- Shift Type: Ad-hoc (weekday and weekend availability required)
- Work Type: Store deliveries
- Vehicle: 7.5 Tonne
Pay Rates (PAYE)
- £17.00 per hour – Monday to Friday
- £20.00 per hour – Saturday
- £25.00 per hour – Sunday
Driver Requirements
- Held a 7.5T (C1) licence for a minimum of 2 years
- Continuous driving experience in licence category, with no gaps longer than 3 months in the last 24 months
- Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- Maximum of 6 points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements)
- Ability to provide 2 recent work references
- Reliable, professional, and customer-focused
