We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our team.
You will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries using an 18-tonne vehicle, delivering goods in cages to various locations. This is a temperature-controlled role, so accuracy in handling and checking food temperatures is essential
Job Description 45-hour working week
Temperature-controlled deliveries
Multi-drop role (up to 14 deliveries per day)
Local work – no long-distance driving
Driving an 18-tonne vehicle
Induction and Training will be provided to the successful candidate. Job Responsibilities Loading and offloading cages safely and efficiently
Checking and recording food temperatures
Completing deliveries on time and in line with company standards
Carrying out daily vehicle checks
Ensuring compliance with all road safety and transport regulation Requirements Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Good physical fitness due to manual handling involved
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude Benefits £17.76 per hour
