We are recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for night trunking work for our Client at Walton Summit, Bamber Bridge Preston. Shifts start at 18.00 Monday to Friday and are always 1 drop in Birmingham with no loading or unloading. As these positions are ASAP, we will need you to be immediately available so please don’t apply unless you are not available to start work straight away with us.
To work with us as a Class 1 HGV Driver, you will need:
- A UK issued Class 1 driving Licence held for a minimum of 2 years.
- A valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
- To have no more than 6 points on your licence.
- To be keen to look after your vehicle, be punctual and reliable and be tidy in appearance.
HGV Class 1 Night Driver responsibilities include:
- Trunking to Birmingham.
- Daily walk round and Vehicle checks. Reporting existing damage and defects.
- Correct use of Tachograph and drivers hours.
The successful Class 1 HGV Drivers can expect:
- Monday–Friday: £18.00 – £23.00 PAYE Per Hour Adv.
- Weekly Pay, paid on time every time.
- 8hr minimum guaranteed pay per shift.
- Subsidised ongoing CPC training.
