Driver Hire Lancaster are seeking reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers for temporary/ad-hoc positions in the Lancaster area. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers to join a well-established logistics provider offering day shifts only, no nights or night outs required!
Key Responsibilities:- Palletline multidrop deliveries
- Deliveries to a range of businesses within the local area
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods
- Adhering to health & safety regulations
- Completing relevant paperwork and vehicle checks
- At least 9 months of Class 2 driving experience
- A valid HGV Class 2 driving licence
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
- No major endorsements (e.g., DD, DR, or IN endorsements)
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Good customer service skills, as you'll be interacting with clients during deliveries
- A professional and responsible attitude
