Driver Hire Perth are recruiting for a Class 1 Shunter Driver to join our Perth based client. This role offers a mix of dayshifts and backshifts, with the opportunity to move into full-time work for the right candidate. You’ll be working with a well-established national logistics company, responsible for moving trailers around the yard and assisting with site shunting operations. This is primarily a yard-based role, with most movements being short distance, making it ideal for drivers who prefer minimal road driving. Full Terberg training will be provided.
The Class 1 HGV Driver will need:
- Category C+E entitlement on your UK driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- No major endorsements (including DD, DR, or CD)
- Previous shunting experience preferred but not essential
Shift Times:
- Dayshift: 06:00 start
- Backshift: 13:30 start
Pay Rates (PAYE – inclusive of holiday pay):
- Dayshift: £15.69 per hour
- Backshift: £16.25 per hour
