Class 1 Driver – Temp to Perm in Nottingham

Driver Hire Nottingham are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join one of our clients based towards the Stapleford area.This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for a Class 1 driver looking for regular work with the potential to secure a permanent position. The Role You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of beams and trusses to customers across the Midlands and further afield. The role will involve: Delivering beams, trusses and similar loads to various locations Ensuring loads are secured safely and correctly Completing vehicle checks and required paperwork Providing a professional and friendly service to customers Working safely and in line with all relevant transport legislation Travelling throughout the Midlands and occasionally further afield Requirements To be considered for this role, you must: Hold a valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence Have held your Class 1 licence for a minimum of 12 months Have an in-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Be driver neg with a good driving record Have previous experience delivering beams, trusses or similar loads – preferred but not essential Have a good understanding of load security and safe working practices Be reliable, professional and customer-focused Have the right to work in the UK Pay & Benefits Assignment rates start from £18.75 per hour Daily overtime paid Temp-to-perm opportunity Regular ongoing work Opportunity to secure a permanent position with our client Driving work across the Midlands and further afield If you’re an experienced Class 1 driver looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential to go permanent, we’d love to hear from you!
