We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established local business for a Class 2 Vacuum Tanker Driver to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous vacuum tanker experience who enjoys working independently, providing excellent customer service and taking pride in their work. Salary up to £40,000 per year Monday to Friday – 7:30am and 4:00pm Company pension scheme Local routes with no nights out Established and supportive team environment The Role You’ll be operating a fixed wheelbase 18-tonne vacuum tanker, carrying out septic tank emptying, cleaning and jetting work across the local area. Work will be carried out at residential and commercial properties. This role requires a professional driver who can represent the business positively when dealing with customers and who takes a proactive approach to vehicle care, safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities Operating a Class 2 vacuum tanker safely and efficiently Emptying septic tanks and carrying out associated cleaning and jetting work Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects Accurately completing delivery notes, vehicle logs and related paperwork Maintaining a clean, organised and professional vehicle Communicating effectively with customers, colleagues and dispatch teams Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures What We’re Looking For Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence Previous vacuum tanker experience Good working knowledge of septic tanks and private foul drainage systems Strong understanding of road transport legislation and safe driving practices Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach Ability to work independently and manage daily workloads effectively Why Apply?
