Driver Hire Kingston is currently recruiting a D1 minibus driver for a well-known children's charity, providing safe and supportive transport for SEN schoolchildren in the Kingston and Richmond area. This role is based in New Malden, with other locations available in West London.

Hours, Pay & Perks:

  • Monday to Friday – Term Time Only
  • Split Shifts: Morning: 7:00 am – 10:00 am; Afternoon: 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
  • £14.25/hour PAYE Advanced
  • Guaranteed 6 hours of pay per day
  • Weekly pay
  • Ongoing work with potential to become permanent

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Transporting children with limited mobility safely to and from school
  • Performing basic vehicle checks before each shift
  • Using a tail lift and wheelchair clamping system safely (full training provided)
  • Working alongside a Passenger Assistant (PA) who will support you with the children

What You'll Need:

  • UK D1 driving licence
  • You do NOT need a Driver CPC or tachograph card, as long as your D1 has the 101 restriction (meaning you earned it before the rules changed)
  • A friendly, caring attitude — this is more than just a driving job
  • A responsible, safety-first approach to your work
