Location : Based from Skipton, travelling to various survey locations Pay : £14.25 per hour, including paid travel time Hours : Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Contract : Temporary, minimum 6 weeks Vehicle : Provided for commuting and work-related travel We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a physically fit and dependable Mobile Mapping Surveyor . Based from their Skipton depot, you will travel to different locations to collect mapping imagery and survey data. This is an active, outdoor role involving significant walking, including in areas that cannot be reached by vehicle. Full training will be provided, so previous surveying experience is not essential. The Role You will collect visual mapping data using specialist camera equipment, including: A GoPro-style camera worn on your chest. An additional camera mounted on a pole above your head and supported by a backpack. Walking planned routes in locations where vehicles cannot access. Travelling from the Skipton depot to survey sites in different areas. Following instructions carefully to ensure accurate and consistent data collection. Looking after the vehicle and equipment provided. What We Are Looking For The successful candidate must: Be physically fit and comfortable walking for extended periods while carrying camera equipment. Be reliable, punctual and able to work independently. Be available Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Be able to commit to the full contract of at least six weeks . Hold a valid driving licence and be comfortable travelling to different locations. Be willing to work outdoors in varying locations and weather conditions. What Is Provided £14.25 per hour. Paid travelling time. A vehicle for commuting between home, the depot and work locations. Full training on the equipment and surveying process. Consistent Monday-to-Friday work.
