Driver Hire Mansfield are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Skip Driver to join one of our clients in Mansfield. Due to continued expansion, our client is looking to grow their team with a reliable and experienced driver.
This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity, giving you the chance to start on agency with the opportunity to move across to a permanent position with the client.
The Role
- Driving a Class 2 skip vehicle
- Delivering and collecting skips from customers and sites
- Ensuring skips are safely loaded, transported and positioned
- Completing relevant vehicle checks and paperwork
- Providing a professional service to customers
- Monday to Friday working
- 07:00am starts
- Full-time, ongoing work with the opportunity to become permanent
While working through Driver Hire:
- Assignment rates from £17.75 per hour
- Overtime paid after 8 hours
- Weekly pay
- Ongoing work with a view to permanent employment
Once permanent with the client:
- Salary from £37,500 per year
- Based on a 50-hour working week
- Opportunity to become part of a growing team
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold an in-date Category C (Class 2) driving licence
- Have an in-date CPC
- Have an in-date Digital Tachograph Card
- Have previous skip driving experience
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Be reliable, professional and committed to providing excellent customer service
