About the role: We are looking for 7.5 Tonne & Van Drivers to join our client based in Doncaster on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a varied driving role involving the operation of 7.5 tonne vehicles and vans, delivering delicate products to customers and construction sites.
Key responsibilities:
- Safely operate 7.5 tonne vehicles and vans as required
- Deliver delicate products to customers and construction sites
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Load and secure products safely for transportation
- Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations
- Adhere to all road transport legislation and company procedures
What we're looking for:
- 7.5 Tonne Licence
- CPC and Tacho Card
- Minimum 6 months' experience driving 7.5 tonne vehicles
- Willingness to undertake van driving duties as required
- Good knowledge of driving regulations and vehicle safety
- Ability to carry out manual lifting and loading duties
- Flexibility to support with 2 nights out per week
