Driver Hire South East London are recruiting for 7.5 tonne Multi-drop Delivery Drivers for our catering client based within SE7 postcode areas.

Pay: PAYE £17.00 per hour paid weekly (including holiday pay)

Type of shifts:

  • 6am-4pm
  • Multi drop delivering catering supplies
  • Shifts are mainly during the week, day shifts, Monday to Friday
  • Start times can vary between 6am-4pm

All-round Duties:

  • Complete deliveries correctly and efficiently, in a professional and timely manner
  • Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • Valid UK CAT C1 licence with experience and checkable references with no more than 6 points (no DR DD TT IN)
  • Valid CPC manual driving licence
  • At least 1-year experience as a 7.5T driver / LGV / HGV (references required)
  • You must be over the age of 21 years (insurance purposes)
  • Physically fit, as some jobs require lifting and shifting
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards

Job Types: Full-time, Temp-Perm

Schedule: 8 hour shift, Day shift, Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification: Cat C1 driving licence (required) with experience and checkable references, CPC (required)
