Driver Hire Edinburgh West are recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver with HIAB to join a well-established utilities management company based in Livingston.
This is a great opportunity to secure ongoing work with a company supplying essential materials and equipment to utility and project sites across the region.
- Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle to deliver and collect utility products, materials and equipment.
- Operate HIAB equipment safely and efficiently when loading and unloading.
- Position materials at customer premises and project sites.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Ensure deliveries are completed safely and on schedule.
- Complete relevant delivery paperwork and electronic records.
- Follow all transport legislation, drivers’ hours regulations and health and safety procedures.
- Maintain a professional and helpful approach when dealing with customers and site personnel.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
- Valid HIAB certificate.
- Experience with Grab or Hook attachments would be advantageous.
- Previous HIAB driving experience preferred.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Reliable, professional and hardworking attitude.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
