Driver Hire Lincoln is recruiting reliable and professional HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join one of our busy clients based in Lincoln. This is a long-term, ongoing opportunity offering a mixture of regular and ad hoc shifts, with the potential to work up to 5 days per week.
Location: Lincoln
Start Date: Immediate
Employment Type: Long-term, ongoing
Pay: £16.50 per hour (first 8 hours), £22.00 per hour (after 8 hours), £22.00 per hour on Saturdays, Double time on Sundays and Bank Holidays, PAYE Advanced, Weekly pay every Friday
Candidate Requirements:
- Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
- No major endorsements (maximum of 6 penalty points)
- Hi-vis clothing and safety boots
- Own transport to travel to and from work
- A positive attitude with a professional and flexible approach

Key Responsibilities:
- Start times available from 06:00
- Shifts available Monday through to Sunday
- Typical shifts of 8–10 hours
- Complete 10–15 local deliveries per day
- Work alongside a dedicated driver’s mate to assist with deliveries
- Deliver goods safely, efficiently, and on schedule
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and complete all required paperwork
- Maintain clear communication with the transport office and customers
- Follow all company, legal, and health & safety procedures
