Class 2 HGV Mixer Driver in Lincoln, Lincolnshire

Driver Hire Lincoln is recruiting a Class 2 HGV Mixer Driver for a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity with our client based in Lincoln.This role begins on a 13-week temporary basis, with the successful candidate transferring onto our client’s permanent payroll in week 14. Working Pattern Monday to Friday Occasional Saturdays on a rota basis 06:00 starts Approximate 16:30 finishes (later finishes may be required) Local deliveries only Based in Lincoln The Role Deliver construction materials to local customer sites. Work closely with the distribution team to ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently. Use your local knowledge to plan and complete delivery routes effectively. Provide excellent customer service at each delivery location. Assist with unloading materials when required. Carry out daily vehicle checks and follow all health and safety procedures. Requirements Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence. Valid Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card. Good communication and customer service skills. Previous mixer or Class 2 experience is beneficial but not essential. Hi-vis clothing and safety boots are required. Pay & Benefits (First 13 Weeks) £15.00 per hour for the first 8 hours of each shift. £22.50 per hour for any hours worked over 8 per shift. Weekly PAYE pay every Friday. Permanent Benefits (After 13-Week Temp-to-Perm Period) Annual salary of £34,954. Guaranteed 48-hour contract each week. Time and a half paid for hours worked over 48 per week. Company pension scheme.
