We are currently recruiting for two experienced J1 All Terrain Forklift Truck Operators to join the Tank and Equipment Supply team.
The Role
Working within a busy transport yard, your main responsibilities will include:
- Loading and unloading gas tanks to and from trailers
- Operating a J1 All Terrain Forklift Truck
- Tank segregation and organisation within the yard
- Hooding and de-hooding new and used vessels
- Preparing tanks for the next stage of the refurbishment process
- Following all company health & safety procedures
- Working as part of a busy team to ensure the smooth movement of equipment
About You
The successful candidates will have:
- Proven experience operating All Terrain Forklift Trucks
- A valid J1 FLT licence
- Previous experience working in a busy yard or transport environment
- A strong understanding of health & safety requirements
- Good attention to detail and a reliable approach to work
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- £14.42 per hour
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am – 4:30pm
