We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver to join our clients team on a temp basis with the possibility of it going permanent for the right candidate. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklift trucks safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload goods within a warehouse, distribution centre and manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklift trucks to transport materials and products.
- Load and unload vehicles in a timely manner.
- Move stock to designated storage locations.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report defects.
- Assist with stock control and inventory management.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.
- Support general warehouse duties as required.
Requirements
- Valid FLT licence/certificate (Counterbalance)
- Previous experience operating forklift trucks.
- Good awareness of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to operate on uneven terrain.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
