Are you an experienced Class 2 HGV Skip Driver looking for ongoing or permanent work in Leeds? If so, Driver Hire Leeds East could have the perfect opportunity for you. We are currently recruiting Skip Drivers on behalf of our client based in the LS9 area.
The Role
As a Skip Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting skips at both residential and commercial locations. You may also be required to transport waste from the depot to a local recycling centre. Excellent customer service is essential, as you will regularly interact with customers and recycling centre staff.
Shift Details:
- Start time: 6:30AM
- Monday to Friday
- Minimum 40 hours per week
Requirements
- Previous experience operating roll-on/roll-off or hook lift skips
- Held a valid Category C (Class 2) licence for at least 6 months
- Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Ability to commute to LS9 for 6:30AM starts
Pay
- Weekly pay (PAYE only)
- £15.00 per hour (plus accrued holiday pay)
- £16.75 per hour (including advanced holiday pay)
