Driver Hire Leeds West is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver with a Moffett licence for a temp-to-perm role with our client in the insulation and drylining sector. You will work with Driver Hire for the first 13 weeks before transferring permanently to our client.

- Shift: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 07:00 – 16:00
- Overtime: Paid at 1.5x when required
- No weekends
- No nights out
Pay Rates
- While working for Driver Hire Leeds West (first 13 weeks):
- £17.69 per hour – Standard
- £20.94 per hour – Overtime
- When permanent with the client:
- Approx. £30,500 per year (with regular overtime)

Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class 2 HGV and Moffett forklift safely
- Deliver insulation and drylining materials to construction sites and residential locations
- Carry out nationwide deliveries as required
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Complete daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance reporting
- Maintain delivery paperwork, mileage, and fuel records
- Liaise with dispatch, sales teams, and site managers
- Provide excellent customer service
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Moffett licence – essential
- Driver CPC + Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous construction materials delivery experience (preferred)
- Physically fit for manual handling
- Punctual, professional, and customer-focused
- Experience completing nationwide deliveries
