We are looking for Class 2 HGV Drivers to start ASAP for our growing client base across the IP postcode, with all the support from our experienced Driver Hire team in Bury St Edmunds. Just passed? No problem – we welcome newly qualified drivers for this role too!

The successful Class 2 HGV Driver will receive:

  • Basic: £14/hr
  • Overtime after 37hrs per week: £16.50.
  • Guaranteed per day.
  • 28 days holiday prorated on PAYE.
  • Upskilling to HGV, ADR and HIAB after satisfactory probation period.

What to expect as a Class 2 HGV Driver:

  • Working Monday to Friday driving a curtainsided van or Class 2 HGV vehicle delivering engineering products across East England including M25 areas.
  • Loading and unloading duties required, must be able to use ratchets to secure loads.
  • 8am starts. Shifts will typically be 7-10hrs long.
  • Overtime paid after 37hrs per week.

As a Class 2 HGV Driver you must:

  • Full UK manual licence
  • Class 2 HGV (Cat C) entitlement
  • Current CPC & Digicard
  • Experience with loading and unloading with ratchet straps.
  • Have no more than 6 effective penalty points.
  • No DG, DD or IN endorsements.
