About the job
- Salary: £30,000 per annum.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, starting at 07:30.
- Benefits: Pension contribution & holiday accrual.
- Responsibilities: Operating a lorry-mounted crane, delivering and collecting plant and machinery throughout Devon and Cornwall.
- Vehicle maintenance: Conduct daily checks to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
- Pre-delivery checks: Verify plant against paperwork received from hire desk.
- Loading/unloading: Safely load and unload plant and equipment onto/from GAP vehicles (strapping, chaining, roping).
- Damage assessment: Tag up damaged machines.
Job requirements
- License: Full and valid Category C (Class 2) license with in-date CPC and digi cards, no more than 6 points, and no DR, DD, or IN convictions.
- Experience: Previous Class 2 delivery driving experience is advantageous.
